You are a spiritual being on a never ending journey having a human experience. The color of your skin or whether you are male or female does not matter. Your body is merely the container through which your spirit moves. God is spirit, you are made in his image, and those who worship him, worship him in spirit and in truth. Be open to experience all life is presenting to you. Don't limit your growth or hinder your purpose by your own thoughts of how you think things should or should not be...your biggest enemy is your own mind...bypass it and you'll get a glimpse into the realities of God...

Speak Your word. Let it roll of your lips, through me, and into the heart of another. Oh, that I may be a connecting force between God and man. Walk this earth through these feet and establish your foundations in the depths. Reach through these hands and touch mankind. Caress the face of Your creation with these fingers. Love through this heart, unconditionally, at all times, in all circumstances. Let these eyes only see Your goodness and Your glory and what You have created. Establish Your thoughts in this mind. Let all that I have ever created myself to be fade away and let all that remains in this vessel be all that You are.

Let go and let God function in you, through you, and as you...by doing so you become an instrument in the hands of a living God. Witness Truth, Life, Strength and Love reaching through you and into others. Become the observer and witness God as all supply on all levels at all times for all. Jesus said, "I can of my own self do nothing." Yet through Him the world was changed. He knew this principle.

Loving without limits, conditions or boundaries....just simply loving, truthfully and deeply...

Why not try it? 

Life (and the world) would be so incredible if enough of us could do this....

One of the most difficult commands we can hear and obey is the command to sit in solitude and wait for the Lord. It’s a command to let go of all dependency on ourselves and completely trust God, a command to be still and wait for revelation and release to come. Sometimes solitude is required to bring clarity. Sometimes it is only through solitude that the content of our hearts can be revealed to us. Other times the solitude is required to bring transformation and power. So much is learned in the silence, things that cannot be spoken, but are heard and sensed in the deepest parts of us.

We all need times of cleansing and refreshing, a moment where we can get away from the world. A place where we can reconnect with who God is…and who we are in Him…vessels through which His power, glory, love, and life are expressed.

In the silence God waits. In the stillness God stands. If we can quiet ourselves enough to be still and listen, we will experience God in new and wonderful ways.

All of creation has a rhythm, a vibration, a pulse, a tone.  These rhythms, vibrations, pulses, and tones are all flowing within and around each other, creating never-ending and ever-changing patterns of sound. The sounds of creation are constantly vibrating, resonating, penetrating, reflecting, re-forming and re-shaping according God's purposes and plans, acting like spiritual sonar - gathering and bringing thought into form.

Think about it for a moment....

I believe the first vibration to echo out across the formless void was love. "Let there be" came vibrating from the source of all that was, is, and ever will be, calling creation into being. I see creation in terms of music - rhythmic, dynamic, and harmonious. From the rhythm of the ocean waves to the beating of your very own heart....it's all sourced from and reflecting the creative vibrations and rhythms of God.

I'm just an instrument.  Nothing more, nothing less.  What flows through me, how I am used and perceived is not up to me.  My purpose is to remain open.  To remain empty.  To let the purpose of this life unfold as it will according to God's plans.  To remain peaceful.  To depersonalize.   To both let and let go as necessary.  To love at all times, under all conditions and circumstances. To move as directed, even when it is uncomfortable or unclear.  I may not see the path clearly at times but I must trust the hands that guide this vessel. 

If I can quiet my mind, let go of all expectations and perceptions, and just relax into the moment with a thankful heart for all things, I can see and experience life in a completely different way. Not an easy thing to do, but I am learning that the more you practice, the easier it becomes...it is our own thoughts, expectations and perceptions that cause the most chaos in our lives.

Give - Share - Serve - Be Kind - Forgive - Love
In doing so, we set ourselves and one another free. We find inner peace and our lives are changed...

Has had an encounter with super glue this evening....Super Glue -1, Linda -0. We shall meet again, Super Glue - as soon as I un-glue my fingers - we shall meet again....on a positive note, I can now constantly maintain the "ok" sign with my left hand...

Change is in the air. It doesn’t make itself known with a subtle tap at the door. It comes in like a whirlwind, knocking down the door and hurling you into the unknown. It blows away all safety nets and comfort zones. Regardless, I welcome change. It brings to the surface everything that needs to go so something new can appear. It’s not easy or comfortable. You can go through change with grace and acceptance or kicking and screaming – but either way, you are going to go through it, because in life, change is inevitable. Be ready and willing to let go of everything you thought you were in order to become everything you are destined to be. The sooner you and I accept change and let go, the quicker it will do its work. Something completely wonderful and new is waiting to be revealed in our lives. Around the corner, just around the bend, change is coming….change is coming….

The moment you have a God experience gentleness is there. Warmth is there. A love toward everything in the world is there. Obstacles and doubts fade from view. Questioning stops and you find a sense of joy....

Love isn't an emotion-it is a state of being, a way of seeing, the connector of us all. Love only knows itself, only sees itself, & seeks to find itself in all things. In the presence of itself it multiplies. I believe this is our true state of existence. Our task is to get past the illusions, including self-created ones of who we think we are, who we have created ourselves & perceived others to be, and to get back to Love.

When we can see through the illusion of our own thoughts, perceptions and expectations and acknowledge them as nothingness, they disappear, leaving room for God to reveal to us and through us who we really are...

I wanted to share this beautiful quote with you as we enter a season of thanksgiving.  May your holiday be beautiful and blessed.

This month I've been in the recording studio working on two new songs for the next album.  "Unfolding Me" is a beautiful ballad that is very close to my heart.  A wonderful violin player by the name of John Henry Gates recorded the strings for this song and it sounds amazing!  The other song is a song that has been swirling around in my head for almost a decade.  It is called "Rhythm of the Father" and originally came to me while driving through the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This song just makes me feel good everytime I hear it.  As always, my record producer, Frank Starchak, is taking these songs and making them shine.  God has definitely connected me to some wonderful people.  I am so thankful and I can't wait to share these gems with you!  Slowly but surely the new album is coming together.
